What is an Alleluia verse? In the first place, this explanation is very necessary some people have come to confuse it with Alleluia chorus. When we say Alleluia chorus, we generally tend to refer to the lenghty Alleluia composition by G. F. Handel and others. But the term Alleluia verse on the other hand, refers to the short Alleluia chants or motifs that are usually sung at Mass before the proclamation of the Gospel.
